The trip that started it all....

This is technically our 4th day in Manila and today we are going to Enchanted Kingdom in Laguna!
It will be a first time for us both! Excited much!
We left Alex's place early to catch the first shuttle trip to Laguna.
But first, we checked our baggages at Kabayan Hotel. We will be staying at Kabayan near EDSA,
so we'll be nearer the airport for our trip back to Cebu tomorrow.
We arrived at the hotel around 7am and to our surprise, the place was already packed with local and foreign tourists! wow! Good thing we already have our reservation.
Of course, they didn't have a room for us yet. Check-in time was still at 2PM, we just needed to leave our bags before we head on to Laguna. Now that, that's done. Off we go!
This is Dusit Thani Hotel which is just across Ayala Park Square I---where the shuttles are parked.
Oh but we were too early. We were the first passengers to arrive. First trip to Laguna is usually around 10am but we reserved our seats anyway. Then we wandered around the area to look for a place to have breakfast.SM mall nearby is still closed. Good thing we found Wendy's. Breakfast is solved.
When we returned to Park Square I, several passengers are already ready to board the shuttle.
Going there only took us around 45 minutes and voila! We are finally here!
It was our first time there and we were surprised with the number of people, young and old who were all excited for the gates to open.
As soon as it did..we dashed inside and felt like kidz! We then found our first ride:
The Flying Fiesta
We weren't really thinking about anything at this point. We just went for the first ride we found where we did not need to wait in line. We didn't even bother to get a map of the whole place. Haha!
That's how excited we were! And yup...when the ride started and started to whirl our chairs we screamed our lungs out..I mean, I did. Who cares??!Haha! I have to say, this was pretty scary for a first ride!
Next please!
We didn't actually plan our rides, our aim was only to ride as many as we can!! So the next ride we saw was anchor's away. While the big ship was swinging, all the passenger were screaming! We were excited for our turn!
Finally, previous ride was over and we hurriedly chose our seats.
We chose to sit on the second to the last row...I know..How should we know?!right?!
While waiting for others to fill-in the ride..picture!!!
A view of the other side..ready?set?
Go!!!!!! Man my stomach did a 360 over and over again. Important lesson: never take the seats on either end of the boat/ship. Sssccaaarrrrrrry!
When the boat goes into this part of the swing it's like your going to fall so I held on the metal rod/guard for my dear life. It was my only saving grace. I tried to close my eyes everytime we were up and curled my body just so I won't fall or something. I kept looking at the ride operator and I kept screaming:
"STOP!!!!" more like "Please STOP na!!!!"
When it seemed like forever, finally, the ride came to a full stop and we were allowed to get off.
I was a bit okay. My langga was NOT. Nyahahaaha!
He was mumbling something that could be summarized to: I will not ride anymore!
Poor guy!
While searching for our next ride, we found a queue of youngsters for this mini-rollercoaster ride.
We figured, this is just about enough for us. I mean, we need to get over the previous ride,
plus, I need to convince langga that there are actually several non-harmful, non-terrifying rides that we could choose. This is just so we can enjoy the remaining hours of our EK adventure. It seemed like he was done for it--the minute he stepped off Anchors' Away. Again, poor guy! Haha!
At least he still managed a "smile" after this ride..c'mon it wasn't that bad, kids enjoyed it! Well, so did we!
At the background is like the foodcourt where there is also a stage where bands can perform. Because our stomachs were practically under spasm from too much tension and double flips, we decided to rest from the rides for a few minutes and just walk around.
We wanted to ride this gigantic ferris wheel but the line was just too long. It would take so much of our time.
We decided to stroll around some more until our stomachs are ready to accept food, coz it's was past 12 Noon. We need to eat lunch!
Finally, we found a place to eat. When we took our seats...aaaaaah...felt soooo goooood!
Imagine how much time we spent walking around!
There are actually a lot of food stalls to choose from. We just chose the one that could serve us food ASAP.
After we had our lunch, we began walking around again. How big EK is!
We needed to walk around coz I wanted to divert langga's attention and try to make him forget about his previous traumatic 'ride' experiences----Haha! ---So that we could try other rides, we wouldn't want to waster our ride-all-you-can ticket.
We would've wanted to ride this too, but there were just sooo many children around. Grr!
This ride was not really appealing to me--so, picture it is!
That's the giant pepsi max tower!
Yeah..that''s the rollercoaster behind us. We'll settle for just a picture as of this time.
Maaaaaaaaybe..next time. Just maybe. Hahaha!
It will stop in mid-air, just like that, and reverse it's direction, so you'll suddenly go backwards! Waaaaaaaah! I'm getting sick to my stomach just by looking at that!
So...No!We are not going to ride this one--- which is much to my langga's delight
--the daredevil that "he says" he is!Haha!
I think we may've just found our next ride:
Yey!!!!!!
This will forever be, our best souvenir!!!! The picture says it all.
I suppose, Barkley enjoyed that ride so much! Behind barkley is the tallest slide.. I didn't know at first that there was a slide as high as this as I only saw the small one near the starting point.
But we survived!!
After all those gut-wrenching rides...everything else was just a walk in the park.
Haha! Well..except for a few that we didn't get to try. Enjoy the rest of our photos:
Around 5pm we rode the shuttle back to Park Square I. We wanted to get back so badly to catch the Supah Fest concert at 8pm
