[Malaysia-Singapore Trip]
This majestic temple is located in the heart of Chinatown. It's quite easy to find.
Net sources say this temple was built in 2007 and was inspired by the Tang Dynasty and Buddhist Mandala which, they say, is a representation of the Buddhist universe.
There were just so many of them here. The Buddhas were all intricately designed and arranged to perfection.
There is an inscription on each one which is quite fond to read, if only we had all the time.
After being overwhelmed with the presentation at the grand hall, we decided to explore the roof deck. To our surprise, we found this lovely and serene garden leading to the prayer wheel.
The halls were adorned with more Buddhas, about 10,000 of them! Amazing!
This is the prayer wheel where you can hear bells chiming with every prayer.
We thought the grand hall was overwhelming but it didn't prepare us with the precious collections of relics in their museum.
All that culture and history tour made us crave for some delish street food.
And we had found the just the right place to eat. They have an array of affordable dishes here.
Usies while the good old chinese man was preparing our food.
Yummerz! The chili paste was the real bomb!
